Heritage sites are the cornerstones of our shared history and culture, yet many face the risk of closure or neglect. Forager Foundation, the nonprofit arm of Forager International, is dedicated to changing that.
Through the foundation, we work to identify at-risk heritage sites and develop sustainable management or co-management structures that keep their doors open for generations to come. Building off of proven models like Parks Canada and English Heritage, Forager Foundation is developing a network of heritage sites that will be more sustainable by working collaboratively.
Our work goes beyond saving physical spaces; it’s about safeguarding the stories, traditions, and identities that define our communities. By partnering with local organizations and stakeholders, we ensure that these sites remain accessible and vibrant, continuing to inspire and educate visitors from around the world.
